2008 dates: 
 

June 21 - Monthly Meeting at The Little Shop of Magic. We will conduct a couple of tables of Flames of War featuring D-Day amphibious and airborne assaults starting at 1pm. If there is interest we will also have a third table for the Pacific Theatre. Naturally this will be followed at 6pm by Boardgames and Traveller… However due to Free RPG Day on Sunday, we will offer some Pulp Miniature games instead of Traveller. Think along the lines of “The Rocketeer” and “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow”. 
 

June 22 – Free RPG day at The Little Shop of Magic, Noon to 6pm. We will be running Traveller (Mongoose ed.) and several other non-D&D Role Playing Games. Please visit www.shopofmagic.com for more details on their events calendar. 
 

July 5 – Join us for some Gettysburg action at The Little Shop of Magic, under the Johnny Reb 2 rules system set to Start at 1pm. Depending on the number of players we may run multiple tables highlighting various parts of the 3 day engagement. Stick around and it will be followed by an evening of Boardgames and Demos.

July 19 – Monthly Meeting at DESERT WARS 2008 at the Old Mormon Fort State Park. Entrance fees listed on their website. No other costs. Starts at 9am and ends at 3:30pm. Outside food and drink is permitted, limited concessions available. Keep an eye here on this website for more details! All family friendly games welcome. Colonials at Rouke’s Drift will be the featured morning historical game, and you can expect some Bongolesia action as well. After the Park closes at 4pm, we will reconvene at The Little Shop of Magic for our monthly Traveller session at 6pm. 
 

August 2 – Monthly Meeting at The Little Shop of Magic. Welcome to the Boer Wars, where Diamonds are a Governments best friend. Yes, Africa’s problems really did start this early. Please bring your Victorian era Colonial figures and lets adventure in southeast Africa against something other than the Zulu. Afterwards join us for some additional games in the evening. 
 

August 16 – Annual Summer Historical Gamesday at the Old Mormon Fort State Park. Entrance fees listed on their website. No other costs. Outside food and drink is permitted, limited concessions available. No non-historical games please, preference to American Civil War and Old West game systems. The morning session will feature some “sand table instruction” on Napoleonic Tactics at a 1:1 level covering both Company and higher levels. After the Park closes at 4pm, we will reconvene at The Little Shop of Magic for our monthly Traveller session at 6pm. 
 

September 6 - Monthly Meeting at The Little Shop of Magic. Please join us for several sessions of GUTSHOT! Starting at 1pm. If you don’t, we have a bullet with your name on it. Please bring your own Western figures, as loaners are limited. We will feature a number of scenarios, planned to include the Indian Wars. Naturally this will be followed at 6pm by Boardgames and Traveller. 
 

NOTE_4: Yes, we are combining our Club’s 10^th Anniversary Party, and SmurphCon, with The Little Shop of Magic’s 14^th Anniversary bash.  
 

October 3 – Join us at 6pm as the League of Extraordinary Gentleman set forth on another quest to save humanity from another bout with ultimate destruction. 
 

October 4 - Monthly Meeting at The Little Shop of Magic. Join us in the afternoon for a variety of Wargames. Saturday starting at 6pm will feature a 1,500 point Flames of War Tournament. Our previous Tournaments this year – and the Summer Escalation League – have all led up to this.  
 

October 5 – Join us Sunday afternoon for continued gaming and celebration! 
 

October 31 thru Nov 2 – American Civil War Reenactment at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. See www.snlha.org for more information. 
 

October 31 – Halloween at The Little Shop of Magic. Featuring horror under the Gloire rules set. Also look for other terrifying Boardgames.  
 

November 15 – National Games in Libraries Day 
 

November 22 – Monthly Meeting at The Little Shop of Magic. Join King Arthur and his Knights, as they journey across Dark Age Brittan. We will be using the Warhammer Ancient Battles rules in 28mm. Naturally this will be followed at 6pm by Boardgames and Traveller. 
 

December 13 - Monthly Meeting at The Little Shop of Magic. Colonials on Venus via the Gloire rules starting at 1pm, followed by an evening of Boardgames and Traveller (by Mongoose). 
 

December 20 – Winter Historical Gamesday at the Old Mormon Fort State Park. Entrance fees listed on their website. No other costs. Outside food and drink is permitted, limited concessions available.
